Cygraphics has been in business in Pembroke for more than 50 years. It began when Lawrence Cybulski — known to everyone as Cy — opened a small print shop on Isabella Street. Years later, after relocating Cygraphics to larger premises, Cy handed the reins over to his daughter, Rita. She operated the business until her retirement, when the business was sold to the Pontiac Printshop, owner of The Equity newspaper in Shawville.

In 2025, Cygraphics and the Pontiac Printshop merged with Calumet Media, a digital marketing agency that supports businesses on both sides of the Ottawa River.  The new company, operating out of The Equity’s offices in Shawville, now provides its customers with full service marketing solutions including website design and hosting, Facebook and other digital advertising, and technology integration – as well as high quality custom printing and promotional items.
